Director General Message,

Our mission is to build Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a province where the next generations can enjoy a better life than the one that went before it. So where government needs to intervene to ensure that high standards are met, we will not hesitate to do so.

Later on it was transferred to the planning, Environment & Development (PE&D) Department. In year 2001, it was placed under the newly created Environment Department. EPA has now one head office at Peshawar while the three directorates at Abbotabad ,D.I.Khan, and Swat along with regional office at Gadoon Swabi.
